Pretty Dreamer - Happy Birthday Fall4Me

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams", Eleanor Roosevelt

Hello my beloved readership,

once I also had a dream. I wanted to be a model. But I was told that my fingers would need to be half as thin as they are now. But my height was too short. But I was told that models have no decision-making-sovereignty. I better be a fashion designer. But we live in a time of economic crisis. But I need a profession with which I have more and firmer possibilities and live from. But I was told I belong to fashion journalism. I became a blogger: model, designer and journalist in one with decision-making-sovereignty. Four years ago no one believed in me. Nowadays I impress, I convince and I inspire. After (re-)creating myself in the first year and improving the quality of my blog during the second year, from the third year on I went more global building bridges to many different artists featuring them on my blog and introducing them with an interview. What all those people have in common? No matter if edgy, playful or classy this blog and I are bearing a part of each of these people's art and understanding of beauty. This year I have built bridges the other way round with brands sponsoring and collaborating with me since they like what I do in my very own and unique way.

One of these brands is the BornPrettyStore. As the name already says the BornPrettyStore makes every woman feel born pretty thanks to the huge choice of fanciful items they offer from make-up and hair products, as well as wigs, to a choice of dresses and other women's wear and last but not least accessories - that item that according to me builds up the whole look along with its effect. What I love most about the BornPrettyStore is the low cost and worldwide free shipping without any requirements. When I was looking through the items I was amazed that they do not follow the mainstream trends but offer almost every color and every style from edgy to classy so an adjustment of the Shooting Star by Chanel or many purple jewelry which is my absolute favorite color and more necessary in my closet. Low prizes are not necessarily bad quality. BornPrettyStore is the proof!

Tender But Decisive

Hello my beloved readers,

humans are individuals especially when different genders meet, different cultures or different generations. That not enough since humans are individuals they have different outlooks on life and different views on rights and wrongs. This leads to a conflict between individuals. Age does not measure intelligence and intelligence does not measure wisdom. Being in the 20s is not what it used to be just half a century ago. This comes now by the 30s. I for myself can say that I am not a girl but as well not yet a woman. The most dangerous thing the human individuals permanently use is their brain in addition with their heart which makes it even more dangerous. The worst thing in the whole story is that no one is willing to listen anymore. Everyone wants to speak but no one wants to understand. Whereas every action is holding a meaning in it.
I am one of the very rare kind now our days to be honest enough to admit that sometimes I do not even use my brain. my whole overthinking makes my brain stop its work when the limit is reached. In moments like these I am dependent on other people and their advice. But the circle closes and I come back meeting myself again, me, myself and I am the only person who can face and solve my problems. No one and nothing can take this responsibility from me.
There is no right and wrong existing in individuality. We live in more truths and right answers paralelly to each other. The conflict comes out of different tastes and styles but that does not mean that you could not live in harmony with different people and your personal outlook. All you need to do is to make your fellows get used to your outlook on life in a tender but decisive way. The most important thing is that you have to be convinced of what you do. Then it will earn success.

Hear Her Calling: Greta Salome Special

Hello my dear readership,

the Eurovision Song Contest may be over, but the artists have left their mark on us. Laura Tesoro has won my brother's heart and Greta Salome from Iceland has won heart and that of many other fans all over the world with her breath-taking and impressive performance of the lively, strong song "Hear Them Calling".

In the following interview I have brought her to Fall4Me since doubtlessly fits to this blog with her rather dark style and deep thoughts hoping she withh inspire you as well and asked her about Eurovision, her style and her further plans.

On the right Greta Salome participating in the ESC 2012 and left during her performance in this year's ESC.

Fall4Me: Dearest Greta, thank you very much for agreeing to this interview and taking the time for me and my readers. "Iceland got kicked out in the Semi-Finals and nobody is happy about it", stated the British EveningStandard to which many agree. Among others my family and I considered you as the best act of the night as I stated in my previous article about the first semi-final. How did you get this impressive strength to "feel like a winner" as you let your family, friends and fans know in Facebook?
Greta Salome: I did not have to dig deep because that is honestly how I´ve felt after Tuesday. The whole auditorium was screaming "Iceland" when they read out the finalists and that along with the media reaction after not qualifying has felt like winning.

How are you going to continue after this and do you think you would take part in Eurovision once again?
We were planning to release an album late this year but after the media frenzy last Tuesday we are going to speed things up a little and hopefully release it a bit earlier. I´m also doing some shows for Disney and a few big concerts this summer so the schedule is pretty tight.

You are already taking part in Eurovision for the second time. What does it mean for you to represent Iceland and what is special about Eurovision that you would come back? This time it was the song and the message. The timing for me was perfect and it was almost as if it was meant to be. Eurovision is an amazing platform for artists to get their music out there so that along with the fun of Eurovision is a good reason to do it.
Do you think the voting and rating is based on political and economic affairs?
I would´t be honest if I said I didn´t think so. Of course there are politics when it comes to Eurovision but that doesn´t outweigh what a wonderful event it is.

During your debut in Eurovision in Baku, 2012 with the song "Never Forget", which you sang in a duet with Jonsi, you have already presented us a gloomy Greta. Now four years later you show yourself as dark and gloomy in the song "Hear Them Calling". Do you feel drawn to the dark style or does Greta Salome have more and different facets? Who are your style idols in that case?I´ve always liked to wear black and I seem to be more drawn to darker colors than brighter ones. I´m very picky when it comes to cuts and shapes and I´m really a fan of the rule less is more. Coco Chanel is one of my biggest idols when it comes to fashion and she said it best: Before you leave the house all dressed up take off one accessory.

Who are your personal participants this year? Whom do you see as potential winner and why? According to you, where would we meet for the next Eurovision?
I think there are a number of acts who can win this competition. Spain, Sweden, Russia and Australia are the frontrunners I think. My personal favorite this year however is Croatia.

How did you feel when you realized that two of your mates from Baku (2012), Donny Montell from Lithuania and Kaliopi from F.Y.R. Macedonia, as well take part in this year's Eurovision Song Contest? What kind of connection do you have with them?
Me and Kaliope are good friends and she is one of the most uplifting and energetic people I´ve ever met so seeing her again was amazing. I haven´t met Donny but I do like his song.

Before the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 has started you yourself have launched a cover competition where fans all over the world could record and publish their personal freestyle-version "Hear Them Calling" cover. What was your intention with this competition? Is there a message you have for undiscovered artists and talents or anybody? And what is as well interesting to know: Did you already have the time to take a peek into the submitted videos? How do you like them so far?
The cover competition was made to inspire people to create but also to get the message of the song out there. We have been reviewing the videos and will be announcing the winner soon.

Thank you very much for this wonderful interview!

Stay tuned and follow Greta on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and enjoy her performance of May 10th once again.

Eurovision Song Contest 2016: Grand Final

Hello Europe and my whole dear readers from all around the world,

what a night yesterday, between celebrating my beloved father's birthday there was time to watch at least the second half of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in the Globe Arena and join 200 million viewers from at least 42 countries since I already was familiar with the songs. The conclusion is, there is always time to watch Eurovision. Personally I was amazed how nearly all my friends have been following it. You just feel like being in a very big party.

There was firstly a new system of points introduced in this year's Eurovision which was also for me a little bit hard to get at first. But I have found out: First a five-headed national jury gives points from 1 to 8, 10 and 12 points twice to the ten best countries. But with that nothing is decided. Afterwards the public votes are counted and added to the already given points, which can change the ranking completely, from the lowest to the highest number of votes.

The results of the jury rating and telephone voting: Australia has won the heart of the jury, Russia has
won the heart of the telephone voters and Ukraine has won the contest. The telephone voting could and
has changed nearly everything.

Since you have read my feedback on the 20 songs and artsist who have been introduced in the semi finals I am just going to give a feedback on the big five or rather big six, who have been already qualified for the grand final. The host Sweden along with the founding-members France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom in their running order.

6. Italy - Francesca Michelin "No Degree Of Separation": A very beautiful and bright strange, as if one is in aflower field. Francesca has a strong voice but she rather spoke her song instead of singing it.
9. Sweden - Frans "If I Were Sorry": Cute song in the chorus, but for my taste it was a little bit too calm and the rapping part during the phrases destroyed the song.
10. Germany - Jamie Lee "Ghost": As an anime fan I like her style and also the the mood of the song. Jamie Lee has a clean beautiful strong voice.
11. France - Amir "J'ai Cherché": Amir was spreading a positive energy to the Globe Arena with a colorful bright stage full of lights and happiness.
19. Spain - Barei "Say Yay": Yay! Barei reminded me of a cool 90s disco and collected so much power in her self and the stage. I love her party style a lot and how she was moving on stage.
25. United Kingdom - Joe & Jake "You're Not Alone": A cheerful early 2000s song sung by a cute boys-duo.

I go without a personal ranking this year because I am pretty satisfied with the ranking - which sadly also includes some political reasons irresistably - nevertheless in my eyes every artist was special and outstanding in the own way this year and I cannot wait to make the CD join my other Eurovision babies. And congratulations to Jamala from Ukraine for winning the contest with a meaningful song, full of tension.

Eurovision Song Contest 2016: Semi Final Two

Hello Europe and music friends,

favorites were haunting favorites the night of Thursday during the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, which is taking part unter the slogan "Come Together", even though I have to admit at the beginning the entries seemed pretty monotone to me. It was a surprising pleasure for me to reunite with old friends such as Kaliopi from F.Y.R. Macedonia and Donny Montell from Lithuania, who have represented their countries already previously in Baku 2012, and Poli Genova from Bulgaria, the host of Junior Eurovision 2015 and participant in Eurovision 2011 in Düsseldorf.

What was special about the entries of this night? Well, in the first place the impressively beautiful lyrics that caught me, that special thing every artist had and of course a happy result in the end that nearly all my favorites qualified for the grand final which will take place tonight May 14th.

"What color is your life?" asked Michał Szpak in his song. I think it is actually a good thing to wonder.

My impressions of the second semi-final contestants are the following in their running order:

1. Latvia - Justs "Heartbeat": The song had a funky rhythm and I liked the art of the stage. Apart from that Justs has an impressively strong voice.
2. Poland - Michał Szpak "Color Of Your Life": It is a song to swing and sail away. Wonderfully sensual along with the beautiful lyrics.
3. Switzerland - Rykka "The Last Of Our Kind": Rykka has a very cool style and great, impressive voice. Her song really was a "we're the generation of dreamers" song to call out. Very taking.
4. Israel - Hovi Star "Made Of Stars": Also Hovi had a strong voice and a sensual and touching song.
5. Belarus - Ivan "Help You Fly": This song had the character of an anime opening. Very strong and memorable.
6. Serbia - Sanja Vucic "Goodbye (Shelter)": The first impressive act of the night with Sanja delivering an amazing voice and a very cool gloomy style according to my taste made the whole song strong.
7. Ireland - Nicky Byrne "Sunlight": Which 90s girl does not love Westlife? Nicky remained true to this style. I loved this cheerful song.
8. F.Y.R. Macedonia - Kaliopi "Dona": The chorus with "Dona" was doubtlessly catchy. Kaliopi once again presented us her strong voice but she did not as good as in 2012 with this rather folklore song.
9. Lithuania - Donny Montell "I've Been Waiting For This Night": The song was beautiful but sadly not special to me.
10. Australia - Dami Im "Sound Of Silence": Dami's voice was sick-strong! Also for a change she has worn a beautiful dress. That all made the song catchy for me.
11. Slovenia - ManuElla "Blue And Red": ManuElla has a great English-language capacity. The rhythm of her song was great, lively and strong to make the song.
12. Bulgaria - Poli Genova "If Love Was A Crime": Inspired by the lyrics of this beautiful song I have written my article "I Want To Be A Criminal". I am happy how much many people agree with me that this song is a hit! Very lively and to stand up and join the party. The song has a beautiful message and is not as average. Poli has strongly improved since 2011.
13. Denmark - Lighthouse X "Soldiers Of Love": The song had a great rhythm. I liked its power and how touching the song was.
14. Ukraine - Jamala "1944": Let me tell you, the singer Jamala is Armenian! I am not surprised she is the favorite for so many ones. The tension held in her song is amazing and her song is gold for Armenians.
15. Norway - Agnete "Icebreaker": Agnete is a very beautiful girl! She has a unique change of rhythm and music in her song which I like very much. She is the real queen in this year's Eurovision.
16. Georgia - Nika Kosharow & Young Georgian Lolitaz "Midnight Gold": I liked the act. They were like a Nordic band.
17. Albania - Eneda Tarifa "Fairytale": She has a beautiful deep voice, the mood was deep and taking and the overall act reminded not only me of James Bond.
18. Belgium - Laura Tesoro "What's The Pressure": The best act at the end once again. It was definitely the coolest song which was standing out the most with a bright stage. Also I liked Laura's sequins costume.

After this feedback my personal qualifiers would be the following ones:

Poland
Belarus
Serbia
Australia
Bulgaria
Ukraine
Norway
Georgia
Albania
Belgium

And here are the actual qualifierst for the grand final:

Enjoy the party during the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with a very special and attractive act tonight 9 pm [GTM+01]
