The Voting Results...

Hola,

about a month ago I've changed my blog-design and  consider it as perfect now (special thanks go to Sylvia from hug-you.com :) ).
Therefore I've asked you - my fans, followers, readers and visitors - how you like the new blog-design.

Happy Woman's Day

Hello my dears,

Of course I will never forget the Woman's day 2011 when I have met the creator of one of my most favourite games - Tekken - Katsuhiro Harada and the creator of the game Street Fighter, Yoshinori Ono. They came to present the new game Street Fighter x Tekken they worked on together and had an autograph hour here. 

What I liked most was that they seemed very happy when they saw me - as the only (fashionable) girl there - and Harada also painted a heart above the autograph :)

Still this year was as wonderful in its way. I have spent it with one of my best friends again. This time we have tried Indian food at Chutney's in the shopping center Europa Passage. Our insider this time was the hard decision. But Indian meals are just like Mexican ones, you can eat them with your beau without embarassing yourself.

Afterwards we went to do some shopping and I've found wonderful earrings that perfectly fit to my snake-ankle boots.

The day also started very well with flowers from my dear brother. For my mother I've prepared little heart-cakes with marmelade and from my grandmother I've got a very trendy and up-to-date stripes-blazer. I've already had the pants long ago as I was inspired by my idol Piret Järvis as I've told you when I informed you about the stripe-hype.

Pink & Orange Are The New Red

Hello,

I've told you that the colour red is stored for this year in the fashion-world the intensive colour of love, fire and temprament is taking a break now. But that doesn't mean that there aren't any other alternatives. On the contrary there are even two new reds for 2013.

What I have discovered since the beginning of this year is that red is exchanged by the colours orange and pink in clothes, make-up and accessoires. More women rather prefer pink lips and orange clothing or the opposite.

The year is going to be fresh, gaudy and lively with the eye-catching new reds. You are going to be the fesh, fashionable girl on the streets with the combination.

But just as pink and red or organge and red shouldn't necessarily be worn together so pink and orange shouldn't mainly be worn together. You should at least set good contrasts with purple, blue or turquoise. (The dream team of last year is still up to date).

Be brave and show colour. Be as shiny as the sun of the spring and summer and compete against it.

Shopping Results

Hello,

on the passed weekend I've met my friend for a little shopping tour and relaxed meet up to celebrate the beginning of our holidays and on Saturday evening I've attended to the Midnight-shopping at the shopping center Hamburger Meile in Hamburg with another friend.

Once I was asked by a friend how I built up my collection of nail polishes, I've told her that everytime I go shopping I buy a new colour and then one day you suddenly notice that you have a big collection. This time I've bought N°170 - French kiss by P2. It is an a little bit darker and more intensive pink and has the colour of bilberry. A colour that will accompany you through the year. I will tell you more about that on my next entry.

On that day I've also bought myself new earrings for summer. I allready imagine my summer holidays at the beach and become a fashionable summer-hippie again with the colours orange and purple.

Save the trend! Big round earrings like those will be a summer must-have.

Since that shopping-tour I have been searching for the orange lipstick N°061 by P2 which was sold out. I couldn't find it anywhere else so I've decided to look for a similar lipstick from another label and found it by Catrice. I will tell you more about that on my next entry.

And on the same day I've finally found blue earrings that have finally appeared me. So I've bought the whole set. Now I only need the blue pumps and then I can complete my look that is based on my cavalary jacket.

Playing with Shades

The gamut of colours for March and April goes playing with shades. You either "play" with one colour "family" - e.g. different shades of blue - or use supporting colours to your main colour like black, white or grey. They always work best in my opinion.

A fashion-tip: Pick a strong colour for what you want to focus on and get softer with what you focus on less.

Accessory of the Month

Bonjour,

the accesoire of the month March goes to... the beret. The snow has almost gone and the sun is coming out more still it is quite windy and cold so it wouldn't harm you to still use a chic head-wear. What I especially love about this beret is that you can combine it perfectly with every look from the fanciful Lolita to the rocky biker.

What I also love it very much is that you can wear it perfectly with sunglasses and be the fashion-icon on the streets. Who says that sunglasses are only worn in summer with summer clothes? - Try it out. My suggestion is a pure white or strong and shiny colour to welcome the warm times of the year.
