Shopping Results

Bonjour,

before I present you my yesterday's shopping results I want to wish all my French here a joyeuse fête nationale! In order to their Independence Day - I have earlier posted it on my Twitter so it would reach my audiance there and on Facebook.

The best thing about yesterday's shopping tour was in the first place to meet my beautiful bestie S. again after such a long time ♥ the amazing photoshoot we had for yesterday's blog entry and the insider I've had with her and my brother who met us in one of the shops, seeing my shopping bags and asking: "Shopped again?!", me replying: "Brother [name not revealed]! I just had to buy it it's necessary to survive!", him asking: "Hairspray?", me: "Yes..." - you know I'm obsessed with the 80s style.
Funny isn't it? :)

And one more good news. Only three likes are separating me from reaching 300 likes on Facebook. Please like the page and tell your friends to do so, too ♥

Now here come the wonderful shopping results - I've found beautiful 80s earrings in the colors mint green and purple as I was looking for them.

Have a great start into a new week tomorrow. For myself I can say it will be full of adeventures.

Accessory Of The Month

Hola ♥

first of all my loves HUUUUUUUGE APOLOGIES that the post "Accessory of the Month" comes so belated this time. I was so into my exam stress and other more important (?) posts and trends that I've honestly forgot about it.
But better later than never :)

The accessory this month isn't an accessory in the main sense but still my constant company this time. I'm talking about my black knit jacket by Zara which was a real lucky catch when I went shopping in Monaco. The good thing about this piece of clothing is that you can wear it trendy in winter and in summer and it functions rather as a beautiful accessory than a cloth. In hot summer evenings or mornings however it does keep you warm.

Knit jacket - Zara; sunglasses - Carrera; earrings - I am; top - H&M; treggings - Vero Moda; sandals - Style in shoes & accessories; bag - Harrods; watch - Chanel

Thanks to my beautiful S. for the great photos.

Heeeeeeey :)

happy Friday my loves ♥ for myself I can say that it is one of the happiest Fridays because today I've passed one of the two exams I've worked for so hard. Many of my friends and of course my dear family shared the happiness with me.

As I'm now back from a beautiful celebration of my grand-mother's xxth birthday which we celebrated in the noble hotel Grand Elysee I will now tell you as promised about my yesterday's successful shopping day.

My actual aim were jewelries and accessories because I am saving my money for the big vacation in L.A. which is going to take place in about one month and 10 days. Besides from that I actually don't need something from here necessarily, everything is so far bought.
I was looking for earrings in the 80s style à la Amanda Carrington and some in mint green, purple or versatile pastel colors but as you certainly know from your own experience it happens that you also catch other beautiful pieces during your shopping trip which you just have to buy.

Me and my friend with whom I went shopping advised each other very well and through the help of the other we managed to buy very beautiful pieces and finish the shopping tour contented. During the tour she also shot me for yesterday's post.

After that I've met a friend who came here for an appointment with her friend. We were sitting and talking about the main topics shopping and fashion naturally. It was great to meet you, hope to see you soon again ♥ If you follow my Instagram you will be able to see a picture.

My biggest success were these triangle stud earring which became my new most favorite earrings. They are absolutely in the style of the earrings Amanda Carrington aka Catherine Oxenberg loved to wear in Dynasty to many different outfits. At this point I also have to say that they do fit to every outfit as blue is the new black. My friend from the other city liked them too and added that blue suits me very well.
What do you think?

It is always worth taking a look at New Look as their summer sale is always amazing as their clothes and accessories just likes these earrings another form of classy.

... I was also amazed about them having feather earrings of good quality. Naturally they had to be shopped too even though they it wasn't directly planned.

This necklace also had to be bought, maybe only just for fun because I have the same in purple and blue and blue and green, too.

You Never Have Enough Shoes

Hello, hello my loves ♥

I'm back from a perfect shopping day after a long period of learning and hard working and it felt very good especially because we're having an amazing summer weather here. Perfect for the beginning of the lecture free time. But tomorrow more about my shopping day.

Today I would like to introduce you to another summer trend from the spring issue of the H&M magazine: Roman sandals - if you don't have them you definitely don't have enough shoes because these are a real must-have in every summer season.

Roman sandals are always an eye-catcher and perfect to be worn in summer to a feminine fanciful hippie-look or a sporty and casual jeans-look. My best suggestions are flower skirts, summer skirts with beautiful pattern or shorts.

Whistle - Douglas; bracelets - Claire's; watch - Chanel; Roman sandals (black) - Tac; shorts - C&A (shortened by me)

Top - L&B; shorts - New Yorker; bracelets - Claire's; watch - Wempe; sunglasses - Carrera; Roman sandals - Tac

As you can see I've adapted my tops to my shoes and wear lots of love messages with me as I'm crazy for shoes and look forward to m holidays in L.A. The focus on the shoes gets better like that.

Thanks to my beloved E. & N. for the amazing photos.

My Marlene

Hellooo :)

I know it has been a little while since I've posted my last entry about a colourful week. If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram you have certainly seen that I have been very busy with university and my last exam which I went through today. One more essay and two assignments and I can finish the 2nd semester and one year of studying.

Before I continue with the actual post here's a little Fall4Me update:

  1. Happy birthday and all the very best wishes to my dearest grandmother who celebrated her xxth birthday yesterday ♥
  2. My sweet love Vicky ♥ (visit her blog) and I have agreed that my blog needs a little new touch so I'm currently working on an advanced and more professional design with her help because four eyes look better than two ;) - Thank you kochanie :*. The first result is the new header - I hope you like it as much as we do.
  3. I've already announced it via Twitter that I have added something you've certainly waited for a long time - the google follow button. With this I will be able to see who and how many of you actually follow my blog. (Of course I trust all of you to follow it but a control is better for me and my future collaborations which you would also benefit from.) - So if you haven't join my blog officially.
  4.  Of course every light brings its shadows... I'm very sad to announce that my Facebook page lost 4 likes today and yesterday even though I was actually - and still am - aiming to the other side to reach 300. So if you haven't I would be very happy if you suggested my page to your friends.

Let us now come to the actual topic of this entry and a new trend post which is also fitting perfectly to this week's "Shopping Queen"'s motto by Guido Maria Kretschmer in Bochum: "No matter if long, 3/4 or shorts stage your legs with pants".

My personal suggestion is also the trend I'd like to set in this entry inspired by my beloved Catherine Oxenberg's preferred wardrobe in Dynasty where she played the daughter Amanda Carrington - I've told you about this in an earlier entry. The so called Marlene pants.

The elegant pants of high delicate cotton with a straight and large cut flatters every type of body, gives you a beautiful feminine wasp waist and is perfectly made for every woman no matter is elder or young. They always give your look the noble and classy touch.

How to wear? ("It's not about what you wear but how you wear something", Fall4Me) - See My different versions below: The a and o is of course that you wear them with high-heels and depending on which mood you are in and how hot or cold the weather is you mainly wear them with wide, classy blouses, tops and either blazers or an elegant knit jumper, jacket or pullunder.

Marlene is something for old people? - I thought so too some years ago but Catherine and I want to prove you the opposite. Hopefully we were successful.

As you can see the good weather came back to Hamburg with our university holidays, enjoy the summer in the city.

Every Color Has A Meaning

Salut :)

First of all I would like to announce that I'm very excited because my Facebook page is only seven people away from 300 likes. Thank you already for all the shares and likes ♥

secondly thank you for over 400 karma and all the new fans on Lookbook and followers on Fashiolista. Hope my amounts of followers will grow on Twitter, Bloglovin, Google, Tumblr, Instagram and Youtube/Dailymotion too but you made me optimistic.

Since Monday I have had the creative idea to dress uniform in one color - but possibly differentl shades - and set little accents.
It all started that I've decided to dress completely in greeen as it is the color of hope, for my exam which I had on Monday and was very nervous about. Thank you for all the good wishes, I have good news that I have a good feeling :)

I also thought to in addition explain to you which color has which meaning.

So here I go:
Green Monday - Green in the first place stands for hope, because it is the color of the nature, the plants and the spring. Therefore we associate health, balance, beginning love, life and survival with it. This all is leading to hope.
Green was the color I really needed for Monday as I was too nervous and needed some calmness and hope. It is as well the color of everything correct and luck.

Brown Tuesday - Brown is the color of the earth and the ground. Therefore this color stands for people who aren't demanding and down to earth. Brown is spreading warmth and also symbolizes that people are longing  for secure. The earth this from what everything comes from that's why it also stands for motherhood and protection.
But it also stands for oppression and people with low self-confidence.

Blue Wednesday - Blue is the color of wisdom, trust, truth and the enternity. In the first place it is the color of the sea and the sky, both are deep and infinite.
Blue stands for everything positive like friendship, peace, happiness or contentedness.
Then it was the color of kings and queens, only they were allowed to were it. It is the most popular color and on photos it brings the best effect.
It is the new black. Fall4Me says it is the black with happiness.

Beige Thursday - Beige is the color naturality. It is the color of our skin and a brighter version of brown. It stands for calmness and enjoying company. On that day I've worked together with many friends from and for university.

White Friday - White is trendy, which is argued to be a color but white has a meaning, too. It collects all the colors into one. It reminds of weddings and the pure and innocent bride. It is the light. That's what it stands for: purity, innocence, perfection, unity and immaculate states.
It is cheering up, peaceful and clear. We associate angels, spirits and gods with it. Therefore it mainly refers to spiritual purity.

Personally I see white as a color, what about you?

I hope you enjoyed this entry and its little lecture. More next week after my exam.

The Rich & Beautiful

Bonjour ♥

since I have started to watch my beloved series "Dynasty" again (transmitted on the German "Anixe" from Monday to Thursday 10.30 pm GTM+01 and every Sunday from 3 pm to 8 pm GTM+01) I got obsessed with the high and classy style of the 80s and feel inspired to live it again.

 Then...
...and now

If you follow me on Lookbook and Facebook you have certainly seen that I've presented you predominantly classy 80s looks last week.

Me as a young lady in the early 20s am mainly inspired by my biggest idol Amanda Carrington who is played by the wonderful Catherine Oxenberg whom I've presented you when I firstly talked about my idols. Other inspirations (e.g. what concerns the hairstyle) are Fallon Carrington played by Pamela Sue Martin and Monica Colby who is played by Tracy Scoggins.
My hair got quite long since last year and already out of form so the Amanda Carrington hairstyle won't work sadly. - I would need a fringe and layered cut. - But as I've always had bad experiences with German hair stylists I only change my hairstyle abroad (this year expected in L.A. in September).
I already know how I would style my hair next year.
Do you think you can guess it? :)

As it can be seen on my Lookbook (where my statistics start to increase as I keep telling you via Twitter) the classy styles are very popular among my followers who think that they suite me very well.

If I could also fill you with enthusiasm for the classy "Dynasty" high-fashion here are some important pieces - my looks already tell you: wide shoulders and skirts (or pants) and a beautiful wasp waist - with which you can easily style yourself in the 80s style and feel the life of the rich and beautiful:

Pearls are the A and O of a classy look especially quartz ones

Blouses with ruches mustn't miss. The motto is more and more -
show what you have

Square, big, brown-beige sunglasses.

Big, bigger accessories like bangles and earrings - hanging ones or stud-earrings
(remember, be elegant!)

Stay tuned for more classy high 80s looks. I hope I could fill you with enthusiasm for such a look and lifestyle. A little secret I would like to share with you again: I will soon work on a song with the title "The Rich and Beautiful"

Xoxo ♥ Johanna
