The Devil Wears...

Hello lovelies,

let's start the day with a new post about a modern classy look I totally fell in love with especially because of my new hairstyle with the cheeky fringe. It is inspired by one of Anne Hathaway's looks from the successful movie "The Devil Wear Prada" which is one of my favorite films.

I in addition have combined my classy black and white look with colorful pastel accessories. I just think that this look can be worn perfectly to that hairstyle, it seems youthful, chic and serious at once and is suitable for every occasion.

Music Is Like Fashion, Timeless

Hola my dears,

you don't believe how happy I am to now be finally on the computer and post this entry for you. I have missed you so much but I have been very busy since the day before yesterday and today my computer was disabled because of wrong information and a software. After eight hours the problem was finally solved.

First of all I want to remember a very horrible day from 12 years ago even though some like to remember it in silence I would feel terrible if I don't send my thoughts to 9/11 and the people who have lost family, friends and suffer from a big shock. It must never be forgotten.

Well then the day before yesterday I have decided to start into the new week with a classy style inspired by Amamnda Carrington aka Catherine Oxenberg from Dynasty and a city walk in our beautiful northern German capital Hamburg where I have experienced the first autumn weather of the year even before autumn has actually started (according to the calendar the season begins on September 23rd). It is cold, windy and rainy but with some good music and a perfect look it is actually agreeable.

Brown is calling for autumn definitely. I have combined my brown treggings and cowboy boots with a white knit pullover and a skin colored top underneath since Amanda's specialty are apart from the Marlenes and high-heels cuddly pullovers and triangle earrings. I was a modern girl living up the timeless 80s again.

I am also very happy to present you two gifts which I got belated from my dearly beloved granny. A ring from the 60s with 88/8 diamonds 0,20 ct. and 12 synthetic rubies 7 ct. and a pendant from the 20th century with one diamond-drop  0,18 and a silver-gray Tahiti-pearl and a steel-wire collier.

When I have arrived home I wanted to play some classic songs on the piano again among others the timeless "Für Elise" by Beethoven.

7 Days Of Beauty

Good morning my beloved readership,

as you have already been able to see via Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for the last week I have tried out one of the gifts I've got for my birthday intensively: The "7 Days Of Beauty" calendar by Boulevard de Beauté.

It is something like an advent calendar for one week with beauty and wellness products in it. The friend who gave it to me said that it is meant for my first week as 20 year old woman. Thank you once again for this amazing gift baby ♥

So let's take a review of my last week:

On Monday I've got a sweet and trendy coral lipgloss with which I could stage my full lips. I'm actually not a big fan of lipglosses because of the slimy feeling but experimenting a little bit I have found out that the color stays on your lips and the feeling goes away if you bite in a tissue with your lips.
I have spent that day at home but it is said that a women doesn't make herself beautiful for others but for herself. Besides from that I still have my family to enchant and was even ready for unexpected visitors.

On Tuesday I've bot a new blusher. What a luck! Since mine went broken not long ago and caused a mess. Pink and tiny was just perfect for the way I love to have it the most: High cheek bones in the style of the 80s. And this is how it works. Fill your blusher with a generous plenty of rouge and start blushing from the top and then spread it over your cheek in the direction of your mouth and nose but always keep the strongest part on the top.

On Wednesday I managed to make myself a new nail polish with this wonderful hand santilizer which includes pearls for the hand peeling at the beginning before going to the church. I have worn the nail polish I've got from another friend and her husband who knew that I love purple. It fitted very well to my blue-brown outfit. Thank you my sweethearts ♥

Flormar N°411

On Thursday I've got a deep red lipstick. Another perfect surprise since I can't find my gaudy red lipstick and planned to buy a deep red one for the coming winter trend.
With beautiful red lips I have met my friend in the library for learning then. She was the first one who had noticed my new _ _ _ _    _ _ _ _ _ first on her own. Some others on Lookbook have noticed a part of it.

On Friday I've got a rather natural eye-shadow in the colors of pink, nude and yellow. I rather prefer strong colors on my eyes and kayal but as I saw it as my duty I have tried out the eye-shadow: first I have used the nude one all over my eyelid then I have used the yellow on the upper parts and pink right over my lashes.
It was not too much for the political even on which I was.

On Saturday I've enjoyed myself with wellness, using this wonderful bath salt. My skin felt so much softer and smelled so good with this peeling. Apart from that salt is also healthier for the skin.

And last but not least yesterday I have opened the last door and got a little tube of bodylotion which I have used for my legs. The more oil it includes the better it is for your skin because dark places eventually fade. This one was rather milk however bodymilk refreshes your skin.

At this point I would like to say that wellness and beauty doesn't only cause happiness to the outside but also from the inside. Wellness and beauty makes you feel reborn every, day and causes happiness. I can always recommend you to have at least a little bit of wellness every day and a capital wellness day at least once a week.

And The "Liebster Award Tag" goes to...

...among others me.

Bonjour my beloved readers,

it has been a while now but I can't say it enough: no matter in what business you are or what you do, everyone of us starts from zero - that is something you should never forget, no matter how successful you become - the more important it is to close cooperations and help each other, no matter at what level.
The happier I was yesterday when I have received the so called "Liebster Award Tag" by the sweet Leja.

Let me explain the procedure to you first:
  1. Your nominator asks you 10 questions which you are to answer.
  2. Afterwards it is up to you to nominate 10 bloggers who have less than 200 followers and link them.
  3. Then you are creative and think of 10 new questions the nominees are to answer.
  4. Last but not least you should naturally let your nominees know that they are nominated and should write a post.
My 10 questions from Leja by Just A Brief Moment:

Describe yourself in one word:
Ambitious.

What are your biggest achievements?
Definitely the success I have reached so far with my blog, as blogger and a person of the beautiful world of fashion since May 2012, that Stylebook Blogstars has accepted my blog and that I was offered a partnership with an online shop.
Having convinced my parents to travel to my beloved Estonia with them and having the chance to meet one of my big idols, Katrin Siska - I will never forget that moment.

My successful education, that I have even showed and impressed my teacher from high school. I am successfully involved in politics and as well successful with my political science studies at university.
These are the three biggest ones in particular I would say and in general that I am where I am today.

Would you change your life with someone else?
No, never, for nothing. I have chosen every way I have gone myself and I know I have found the right road and direction and still have a long way to go. If I changed my life I would not be myself anymore and that is what I would pity most.

Describe your personal style.
I am a very individual person but I am always myself and so is my style: You always recognize me in my style and looks and it also shows I am not and I don't want to be like the rest(!) - you will certainly think now that everyone says that but when I walk on the streets and look around I just see girls who don't seem to know another shop than H&M and another style than a plain t-shirt, jeans and ballerinas/sneakers.
It mostly depends on my mood and the occasion how I style myself, but sure is that it has always something eye-catching included. It varys from rock-diva, to timeless elegance or fanciful girliness. My idols are here Piret and Katrin from Vanilla Ninja, Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn, Duchess Kate, Catherine Oxenberg and Lana Del Rey.

Why did you start writing a blog?
Well, since we have found ourselves in the time of an economic crisis for a few years (since about 2009) my parents insisted me and my brother to study something which has an assured future given. Something like medicine, politics or law. However I wanted to do something concerning fashion in any case, luckily I have read about so called "fashion blogging" in a fashion and lifestyle magazine and thought that's just perfect. Sadly because of school and many other things I have been too busy for fashion blogging with quality (quality needs time) so right after graduating school in May of last year I have afterwards started blogging. I absolutely love it because you are a trendsetter, model, direction, chief and (sometimes) photographer at once! Something absolutely made for me and I can use my political science studies for this as well.

Do you think you could handle the pressure of being famous?
I believe I can since I believe that you can make anything if you want it and can imagine it. Just stay true to yourself and if it becomes too much the easiest way is to take a deep breath. :)

What is your favourite dish?
A russian meal called "Pilmeni", do you know it?

What would you do if you had 1.000.000$ ?
First of all I would divide it and share it with my family without which I wouldn't have been what I am today. I would buy my mother's dreamhouse in Cannes and give them the money they need to move there. Even then I would still have enough money to travel to the cities I always wanted to see and where my friends live so we can meet. I would as well make a trip to Estonia which is also a home for me because of the memories and the people. Last but not least I would like to brighten up the graveyard of my grand-father in Armenia. I would then save the rest for the wedding of my dreams and other things.

What type of music do you listen?
That is also something which depends on my mood. Actually I love everything but in particular I love romantic ballades, rock or party music (house, electro, pop). My most favorite artists are among others Vanilla Ninja, Lana Del Rey, Marya Roxx, Violina, Birgit Õigemeel, Teele Viira and many more.

What is your favourite quote?
Phew, there are so many ones... I will just state my those two which have left their mark on me most:
"Love is the weakest when there are doubts because then there is no trust, but love is the strongest if you still keep trusting despite all those doubts" and "Whatever does not kill us makes us stronger".

I hope you liked to read my interview because here come my questions:
  1. What is it that has left its biggest mark on you?
  2. What is your biggest dream?
  3. How far would you go to reach your dreams?
  4. What are you most afraid of?
  5. What are your strengths?
  6. Family/friends or career?
  7. What do people say about you most?
  8. If you wouldn't be involved in fashion where would you be?
  9. If you could change something about this world, what would it be?
  10. What is peace for you?
And the lucky winners who may answer these questions are:

Accessory Of The Month

Bonjour ♥

Question: what do the details of my two different looks have in common? - You're so right, both include scarves, now guess what the accessory of the month September is about...

You know the famous saying that it is not about what you wear but how you're wearing something, just like the scarves. I have been inspired by [surprise, surprise] the 80s, Dynasty and Catherine Oxenberg, who is wearing scarves as a beautiful (warming accessory instead of an anorak, poncho or carding to classy dress- or skirt- looks, lightly wrapped from the side.
September in Hamburg is actually known to be sunny and hot but this year it has changed, while it was very hot from June to August it has punctually seemed that Fall has arrived in September. This is naturally calling for warmer clothes. The truth is altough that it is still warm outside, therefore something little to wrap over is neither too much nor too less.

Brown/beige/cappuccino combined with blue is something I would consider to THE fall combinations. I have already told you that everything is allowed with the shades of cappuccino and brown.

Birthday At Its Best

Hello my sweet beloved darlings,

as I had already announced in my last entry early in the last week I would be too busy to be active much because of my big birthday weekend which I had prepared and celebrated on the weekend.
Of course I don't want to withhold the best birthday and weekend of my life from you.

First of all I would I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the most wonderful, beautiful and sweetest words and wishes and of course thank you even more for remembering my big day and making it special and unforgettable.

Since I have celebrated my last two birthday's rather big I wanted to keep my 20th rather smaller and had the great idea to celebrate it like a 10-year-old child in a retro style. So I have just invited my closest friends to my home. We watched the film "Rush Hour 3", played "Sing Star" and "Eye Toy" and listened to party music from the 1990s and early 2000s.
Sadly two of my best friends couldn't attend but they were with me in heart.

On 00:00 am I was then sang my birthday song, got a very delicious cake everyone fell for and we raised the glasses with ruby red sparkling wine for me.

After that I wanted to open my gifts as quickly as possible. I'm still flashed of them because it was the first time I was really surprised thrice, one brough out tears of joy of me and even wishes came true.

From my parents: A Tommy Hilfiger watch *-*

This is my wonderful big brother ♥ from him I've got the games Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy V for the Playstation 1

From my two best male friends, bodyguards and bros I've a got a giftcard for one of our shopping centers ♥

Another bestie of mine and her husband wrote a supersweet card with money in it and got me purple nail polish ♥ purple is my most favorite color

My bestie with the trendy pastel mint green top got me a supersweet long owl necklace in the shades of turquoise, chocolate with strawberry yorghurt filled in it and also wrote me a supersweet card.
My other bestie got me a gift which brough out tears of joy of me with one gift. A necklace with the USA flag in a heart form (it has a deeper meaning for me). Another beautiful gift was something like a beauty advent calendar for one week which should be meant for my first week as 20 year old lady. Her last gift reminded her of us from the design (leo print) so she got me a shower gel and body lotion.

During the opening of my gifts I was surprised. Someone rang at the door. First my brother went to see who it is and came back saying it's for me, after that I was asking who is there without opening the doors. I was screaming after my parents but they didn't seem to hear me. Then my big and buff friend came and opened the door saying: "Whoever it is I'm here and I will protect you."
We've opened the door and found 20 + 1 flowers (in the trend colors of this year) but we couldn't find out who it was so we call him my secret worshiper.
Yesterday in the noon someone else rang at the door saying he was sent by my uncle. This time my brother and mother went downstairs and brought a huge bouquet of flowers for me.
And today in the morning my very good from Mexico called me just for my birthday.

I have never had this on any other birthday. That's why it is so special and unforgettable thanks to everyone who made it possible ♥

The weekend started even earlier and cooler with something new on me (have you noticed it) and presenting it at the Douglas Ladies Night on which I have attended with my mother.
