My Marlene

Hellooo :)

I know it has been a little while since I've posted my last entry about a colourful week. If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram you have certainly seen that I have been very busy with university and my last exam which I went through today. One more essay and two assignments and I can finish the 2nd semester and one year of studying.

Before I continue with the actual post here's a little Fall4Me update:

  1. Happy birthday and all the very best wishes to my dearest grandmother who celebrated her xxth birthday yesterday ♥
  2. My sweet love Vicky ♥ (visit her blog) and I have agreed that my blog needs a little new touch so I'm currently working on an advanced and more professional design with her help because four eyes look better than two ;) - Thank you kochanie :*. The first result is the new header - I hope you like it as much as we do.
  3. I've already announced it via Twitter that I have added something you've certainly waited for a long time - the google follow button. With this I will be able to see who and how many of you actually follow my blog. (Of course I trust all of you to follow it but a control is better for me and my future collaborations which you would also benefit from.) - So if you haven't join my blog officially.
  4.  Of course every light brings its shadows... I'm very sad to announce that my Facebook page lost 4 likes today and yesterday even though I was actually - and still am - aiming to the other side to reach 300. So if you haven't I would be very happy if you suggested my page to your friends.

Let us now come to the actual topic of this entry and a new trend post which is also fitting perfectly to this week's "Shopping Queen"'s motto by Guido Maria Kretschmer in Bochum: "No matter if long, 3/4 or shorts stage your legs with pants".

My personal suggestion is also the trend I'd like to set in this entry inspired by my beloved Catherine Oxenberg's preferred wardrobe in Dynasty where she played the daughter Amanda Carrington - I've told you about this in an earlier entry. The so called Marlene pants.

The elegant pants of high delicate cotton with a straight and large cut flatters every type of body, gives you a beautiful feminine wasp waist and is perfectly made for every woman no matter is elder or young. They always give your look the noble and classy touch.

How to wear? ("It's not about what you wear but how you wear something", Fall4Me) - See My different versions below: The a and o is of course that you wear them with high-heels and depending on which mood you are in and how hot or cold the weather is you mainly wear them with wide, classy blouses, tops and either blazers or an elegant knit jumper, jacket or pullunder.

Marlene is something for old people? - I thought so too some years ago but Catherine and I want to prove you the opposite. Hopefully we were successful.

As you can see the good weather came back to Hamburg with our university holidays, enjoy the summer in the city.

Every Color Has A Meaning

Salut :)

First of all I would like to announce that I'm very excited because my Facebook page is only seven people away from 300 likes. Thank you already for all the shares and likes ♥

secondly thank you for over 400 karma and all the new fans on Lookbook and followers on Fashiolista. Hope my amounts of followers will grow on Twitter, Bloglovin, Google, Tumblr, Instagram and Youtube/Dailymotion too but you made me optimistic.

Since Monday I have had the creative idea to dress uniform in one color - but possibly differentl shades - and set little accents.
It all started that I've decided to dress completely in greeen as it is the color of hope, for my exam which I had on Monday and was very nervous about. Thank you for all the good wishes, I have good news that I have a good feeling :)

I also thought to in addition explain to you which color has which meaning.

So here I go:
Green Monday - Green in the first place stands for hope, because it is the color of the nature, the plants and the spring. Therefore we associate health, balance, beginning love, life and survival with it. This all is leading to hope.
Green was the color I really needed for Monday as I was too nervous and needed some calmness and hope. It is as well the color of everything correct and luck.

Brown Tuesday - Brown is the color of the earth and the ground. Therefore this color stands for people who aren't demanding and down to earth. Brown is spreading warmth and also symbolizes that people are longing  for secure. The earth this from what everything comes from that's why it also stands for motherhood and protection.
But it also stands for oppression and people with low self-confidence.

Blue Wednesday - Blue is the color of wisdom, trust, truth and the enternity. In the first place it is the color of the sea and the sky, both are deep and infinite.
Blue stands for everything positive like friendship, peace, happiness or contentedness.
Then it was the color of kings and queens, only they were allowed to were it. It is the most popular color and on photos it brings the best effect.
It is the new black. Fall4Me says it is the black with happiness.

Beige Thursday - Beige is the color naturality. It is the color of our skin and a brighter version of brown. It stands for calmness and enjoying company. On that day I've worked together with many friends from and for university.

White Friday - White is trendy, which is argued to be a color but white has a meaning, too. It collects all the colors into one. It reminds of weddings and the pure and innocent bride. It is the light. That's what it stands for: purity, innocence, perfection, unity and immaculate states.
It is cheering up, peaceful and clear. We associate angels, spirits and gods with it. Therefore it mainly refers to spiritual purity.

Personally I see white as a color, what about you?

I hope you enjoyed this entry and its little lecture. More next week after my exam.

The Rich & Beautiful

Bonjour ♥

since I have started to watch my beloved series "Dynasty" again (transmitted on the German "Anixe" from Monday to Thursday 10.30 pm GTM+01 and every Sunday from 3 pm to 8 pm GTM+01) I got obsessed with the high and classy style of the 80s and feel inspired to live it again.

 Then...
...and now

If you follow me on Lookbook and Facebook you have certainly seen that I've presented you predominantly classy 80s looks last week.

Me as a young lady in the early 20s am mainly inspired by my biggest idol Amanda Carrington who is played by the wonderful Catherine Oxenberg whom I've presented you when I firstly talked about my idols. Other inspirations (e.g. what concerns the hairstyle) are Fallon Carrington played by Pamela Sue Martin and Monica Colby who is played by Tracy Scoggins.
My hair got quite long since last year and already out of form so the Amanda Carrington hairstyle won't work sadly. - I would need a fringe and layered cut. - But as I've always had bad experiences with German hair stylists I only change my hairstyle abroad (this year expected in L.A. in September).
I already know how I would style my hair next year.
Do you think you can guess it? :)

As it can be seen on my Lookbook (where my statistics start to increase as I keep telling you via Twitter) the classy styles are very popular among my followers who think that they suite me very well.

If I could also fill you with enthusiasm for the classy "Dynasty" high-fashion here are some important pieces - my looks already tell you: wide shoulders and skirts (or pants) and a beautiful wasp waist - with which you can easily style yourself in the 80s style and feel the life of the rich and beautiful:

Pearls are the A and O of a classy look especially quartz ones

Blouses with ruches mustn't miss. The motto is more and more -
show what you have

Square, big, brown-beige sunglasses.

Big, bigger accessories like bangles and earrings - hanging ones or stud-earrings
(remember, be elegant!)

Stay tuned for more classy high 80s looks. I hope I could fill you with enthusiasm for such a look and lifestyle. A little secret I would like to share with you again: I will soon work on a song with the title "The Rich and Beautiful"

Bright Nails, Dark Nails, Glittery Nails, Matt Nails...

Heyhey,

finally I've found some time to lacquer my nails. My beloved quick dry spray from P2 isn't sold anymore but I've found a perfect alternative: The Quick Dry nail polish by Essence.

Quick dry nail polish - Essence; nail polish / matt (940 never 2 much), nail polish / glittery (890 lost in paradise) - P2

As I've told you yesterday on my Facebook-page I present you a new kind of nail art for those who prefer it simple and quick for everyday-life but still want an artistic eye-catcher.

If you love color gradients this nail trend is also made for you. Here is how it goes: Pick a color you're the mood in (in my case turquoise, the color of the ocean). Take a dark glittery version and a bright or normal matt version of it and lacquer your thumb and your ring finger in the glitter color, the rest will be lacquered in the matt color.

This art will cause a nice effect and will bring some lively mood to you. I hope you like it just like I do. I have to say that it's perfect because I usually have a manicure on my own when I want to enjoy a relaxed evening after a hard week.

Even Accessories Of The Month Aren't All-Rouders...

Hello sweet ones,

latest after the Chucks have been elected to the Fall4Me accessory of the month May they have become a timeless trend for every age and both genders.
Still that doesn't mean that you always have to wear them as if you didn't have any other shoes.

A photo worth gold - hardcore chill w/ style

Chucks are very good for (warm) spring days, dry ones(!) or fall days - if you want - nothing else.
  • In winter or wet days you will only ruin your shoes and harm youself and your health because chucks are made of cloth and rubber. Materials which both suck the wetness and cold and pass it to your feet. If that happens you can easily get sick because your feet are a core point from where you can catch a cold - or worse a flu. After some time your shoes can also get ruined.
  • And in summer Chucks would be rather too hot and your feet would sweat and creat an unpleasant smell. Ideal shoes for everyone who likes it sporty - or rather for men are casual slippers or vans, or those summer-chucks.
I may present you another male Fall4Me idol: Tom Felton in chic
summerlike slippers

Katin Siska presenting her tattoo wearing summerlikely
vans

I certainly don't need to mention that if you wear the same shoes (in this case chucks) like every day - no matter what weather it isit might look as if you didn't have any other shoes. I would really like to spare you that.

In cold and wet days you at least wear good leather shoes (with fur) and 2 cm heels or trendy rubber boots. Remember, you never have enough shoes [a Fall4Me by JK philosophy and slogan for anothe coming blog post]. As I saw this today too. No matter how much you might love your shoes or how much you want to present them because they're new: Sandals and ballerinas are also only worn in hot summer days especially if it's known that it will rain.

In The End The Unity Is Better..

There is something I have been observing for a longer time and as the limit was broken today I've decided to share my opinion on it with you and give you a golden advice on your way.

Dear girls, for the fashion goddess' sake... Is it so difficult to wear the bra in the same color of your top, blouse etc...? Wear at least skin color please.
I didn't know that this colorful bra-top-combination has been established as a trend. I would never wear it because it's just tasteless and ugly...

With these words I've announced this post on my Facebook page and already got some agreements from my fans - once again I want to remind you that if you haven't liked my page yet do it now.

Nowadays we are lucky enough that the underwear industry has advanced so much that it doesn't leave any wish open. From clear to sexy ones.

Especially in summer or spring these fashion faux-pas are seen more as you usually wear brighter and more transparent clothes and those with less cloth (neckholders, strapless).
We either have the skin-color bras for such clothes or those with transparent backs and straps or such from which you can take off the straps. Personally I prefer the straps and skin colors because they are more comfortable and you don't have to check on your clothes fitting well all the time.

Bra - C&A; earrings - SIX; dress - L&B, name-necklace - Lolli

In any case here are the rules:

  1. BLACK is worn with BLACK - usually. It also works with a black transparent blouse.
  2. WHITE on the contrary is a false friend and worn with SKIN COLOR because white is a strong color which would be seen undernearth. For transparent clothes white bras are okay.
  3. EVERY OTHER COLOR (pink, purple, etc.) is usually ADAPTED, if not the rule with the skin color always works.
Bra - C&A; dress - L&B; necklace - Iam; bracelets - Claire's

Bra - C&A

Bra - Karstadt; clutch - Banani; high-heels - Style In; feather earrings - Expressions; name-necklace - Lolli; dress - C&A

I went without showing you some faux-pas examples because I didn't want to show anybody up but give you a golden advice. I hope I succeeded by that and remember same goes for pants.

Flower Power

Bonjour,

in order to this blog entry I also have a fitting saying for you which will hopefully accompany you on your way: "Every flower is blossoming out once but those who are blossoming out the latest will bloom the most beautiful"

When the warm sun shows up again, the days last longer and the flowers start to bloom again spring feelings awaken inside me and reach their high-point in summer. ...and whoever thought of a man now is sweety wrong. I fall in love with flowers. I don't only love to admire them, smell them and take photos of them (admire some on my previous posts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) but  I love to wear the best gift for a woman.

Since the 60es flower power has not only been a life-attitude but also a timeless trend pretty women can't go without because they are also blossoming out in the hot seasons, are admired by everyone and make our world more beautiful.

An advice I want to give you for this trend? - Focus on the flowers, avoid to combine them with other types pattern (e.g. stripes) and don't wear a too gaudy gamut of colours. Be tender like a flower and adapt your look on them. Best would be to pic a special piece of flower-clothing and build your look up from there.
I also wouldn't wear much glitter to the look as it would destroy it.

Ring - SIX

 Top - New Look
 Skirt - Hallhuber
Skirt - Zara

What to combine? - Fanciful pieces like ribbons.

Sandals - Style in...

And yesterday on the shopping Sunday I've bought these new babies.

Pumps - Street Super Shoes

The flower crown and the pants à la Fall4Me idol Lana Del Rey counts to my most favorite pieces.

Additionally I would like to say that I do love the city life but sometimes I just love to escape and discover the beauty of our nature.
