We Are One #1

...that's this year's Eurovision motto.

Good evening Europe and world!

I think I belong to the biggest Eurovision Song Contest fans on the whole world as I wait for it every year and watch and follow it with the biggest enthusiasm. My personal first memories connected with it were when my native country Armenia firstly participated. Since then my passion for this show has grown so much that I also want to participate once for Armenia in the near future.
I even have my song already written in two versions and have a clear image of my stage and performance.

I usually watch it with my family and/or my friends at home. This year is very special because on every day of the finals I am going or have gone shopping with my besties and watch it with them afterwards, sounds perfect doesn't it?

On Tuesday when the first semi final took place I have been shopping in the city center and bought a plain black top from NEW LOOK and added another mini skirt to my collection. Coral another trend colour of the year.

Skirt - New Yorker

And here is my feedback on the first semi final:

Austria - had a beautiful song and I loved the purple stage because I'm addicted to purple. However I think it was nothing special
Estonia - against the background that Birgit is one of my most favourite singers and a lovely friend to me and that I am a big fan of Estonia itself I naturally think it was perfect. Already in the national final I knew Birgit would make it as the ballade is very beautiful and sensual. I also find that she sang it very well. What concerns her dress I have to say that I liked her dress from the national final more. It suited her better.
I was also happily surprised when the commentators said that she is pregnant. I want to wish you once again all the best and heartily congratulate you.
To support her I also chose a rather white and black look.

Slovenia - had a quite cool song with very funny background dancers my bestie and I were laughing all the time. However I think it was a "Euphoria"-copy
Croatia - was also very very funny on the whole
Denmark -Emmelie has a great voice and an amazing song with great lyrics that really brings you in a great mood.
Russia - Also Daria's voice was amazing and my friend, my brother and I were amazed that she didn't have an accent at all.
Ukraine - I loved the stage and the performance on the whole with the forest. It was a stage and a song with style.
The Netherlands - Anouk reminds me of those timeless singers from the 90s and I'm happy that The Netherlands have made it to the grand final after 8 years again. The song was doubtlessly cool but you could hear a funny accent at some stages.
Montenegro - I'm still depressed that Montenegro didn't make it to the grad final. Their song was so catchy and perfect and the austronaut performance, too. Nina's voice was amazing. They can still be proud of themselves for bringing such a great comeback after 4 years of break.
Lithuania - had a nice purple stage but the rest was rather weak.
Belarus - I'm in love with them a perfect traditional party/ESC-song. What I fear is that her dress was too short at all which might be a big negative point in the final decision.
Moldova - had the best stage so far with the dress that looked like a volcano and she on the whole looked amazing and had a superamazing voice. I'm also happy that it was in another language.
Ireland - was rather weak for me.
Cyprus - chose a beautiful song in its native language
Belgium - The singer scared me
Serbia - The three girls were very sweet chicks with an ok song. I was shocked about their dresses and the performance was also a little bit doubtive.

So far I would say that Estonia, Ukraine, The Netherlands, Denmark or Moldova would win or get good places as they are very popular in general.

I'm looking forward to tonight and want to ask you to vote for my native country Armenia please. I'm sure you will like the song :) good luck Gor & Dorians!

And I want to remind you of the great song of Montenegro:

Welcome To The Real Life

Hello there,

today and already yesterday I was asked by one of my readers and my bestie who are both graduating school in pre-summer and also enter the real life what they could wear for their ball in order to the school graduation and where they can find good dresses. As they consider me as a fashionable person who has already experienced the school graduation.
At this point I have to say firstly thank you for the confidence and secondly that I am indeed experienced what concerns balls as I attend to the balls of my dancing school regularly and also were on the school-graduation ball of my brother but not on my own because of different reasons.

Well personally I would recommend a shorter dress which has calf- or knee-length as I find that those dresses are the most practical: aren't too short for a noble ball and not too long if you are going to dance which are two important characteristics for a ball. Besides from that you could wear those dresses on other important occasions too. Shorter dresses also always make you look younger and fresher.
What I also wouldn't recommend are strapless dresses. They will only bother you all the time.

You have two choices for dresses: You either buy a discreet one and complete the look with good eye-catching shoes and many accessories or you buy a very glittery and eye-catching dress but then I would keep the accessories discreet and adapt them to the dress.
The colours I would suggest for this season are a beautiful purple or royal or cobalt blue and golden jewelry. The best additional colour for blue would be pink and to purple coral or orange still work very well.

Here are some looks from me and in addition the shops I would suggest.

Dress - Karstadt; pumps - Deichmann (PCD collection); belt - FUN

Dress (available in different colors) - C&A; shoes - Style in Shoes and Accessories

Dress - Peek & Cloppenburg; boots - Buffalo; gloves - Claire's

Dress (available in different colors) - C&A; plateau pumps - Style in Shoes & Accessories

 Dress - T.K. Max; ankle boots - Görtz17; gloves and little hat - Claire's; jewelry - Tiffany & Co.

I hope I could be helpful. If you have questions about the prizes feel free to write me a private message.

Blue Jeans... White Shirt

Hello sweethearts,

what do you imagine when you think of summer? - Of course a clear light blue sky with white clouds and probably a golden sun and the beach with sand and the ocean.

 Nail polish - P2 / N°900 - Next exit: party!, N°920 - up in the air; Manhatten / N°20 - Winter pearls

Ring - I am; bracelet - SIX

Earrings, necklace - Chanel

All this is turning into fashion now: The colors of summer become the trend colors of the season and the tenderness of the pastel spring season still remains.
The combination is called blue jeans, white shirt, golden or sandy brown or beige accents and if this reminds some of you of the casual, light and trendy demin you got it right. Demin - head over heels in every kind of (light) blue jeans for every occasion - is absolutely up to date for the light summer season.

Blazer, jeggings - New Yorker; boots - Texto; t-shirt - designed by me; brown bracelet - I am; sunglasses - Be-Yu; long top - H&M

My personal favorite article of clothing here for is the jeggings by New Yorker.

In such a hot season you need to have a light and tender lifestyle to collect your power and why not starting it from the wardrobe? Get prepared!

Fun during the shooting ^^

Sadly we weren't that lucky this week with the weather therefore there was no sun during the summer-shooting. However thank you for the shooting Nadja ♥

The make-up is as well meant: You can either try nude lips or a tender lip duo which I have already told you about. Your eyes should also gleam like the velvet sky.

Kayal - Raphael Cosmetic Consultion / N°15

And here is a perfect fitting song by one of my idols Lana Del Rey.

Next, please!

Konnichiwa,

Japanese moments on a Thursday evening in Hamburg...

Me and my dear friend could finally do what we planned long ago: eat the Japanese specialty sushi in the best and most popular sushi-restaurant in Hamburg, in the White Lounge which is located in the central neighbourhood Winterhude.

Because of its popularity it is always recommendable to call and to reserve a table, either in the so called "all you can eat"-area or in the "à la carte" area.
My personal suggestion would be to reserve a table in the "all you can eat"-area if you are indecisive what to eat or if you are going there for the first time because then you have the chance to order from both.

My friend and I decided to order the "all you can eat". You can understand it literally. For 17,90 € you can eat as much sushi as you can or want. As different sushi-plates are nonstop rolling next to your table.
Enough chopsticks, serviettes, soy sauce, ginger, wasabi and mayonnaise is already included on your table.

And after some time there is even more different sushi offered.

My upshot for the White Lounge is that it is a very luxurious and modern designed restaurant that is mixed with the classic Japanese style. I especially love the purple included as I am dying for this color. No matter if you come with the family, friends or with your beau. The White Lounge fits to every occasion.Besides from that it leaves nothing to be desired.

In order to a Japanese motto I chose an outfit suitable to the Japanese style and the spring. A long black top with a flower print with the electric blue miniskirt and opaque black tights, ankle boots and a little black bolero so I wouldn't freeze as the temperatures aren't that high to walk around sleeveless and as a highlight my orange lipstick.
You might remember this outfit from Easter. In order to my Easter gift I'm holding in my hands I would like to remind you of the first blog birthday which is coming in 3 weeks already and about which I am very excited.

The I'm sure I haven't promised you too much and motivated you to go and check it out yourself. You can find all information summed up on their Facebook-page or on their site. The high quality is definitely worth the prize. But just like everything good also this visit had something really tiny negative: As we ordered the "all you can eat" and the menus haven't been updated we weren't warned that it costed one euro more. We were just morally and as a matter of principal disappointed that the service couldn't do something in return for that.

Accessory of the Month

Hey everybody,

the May here in Hamburg the capital of north Germany is known to be very hot and almost summerlike still there is always a fresh wind blowing by. Therefore I have dedicated the title "Fall4Me: Accessory of the Month - May" to the one of the most popular and timeless accessoires, the Chucks.

They have become famous through the basketball player Chuck Taylor after whom these shoes were named as he was the one who cooperated with the company CONVERSE and helped them to improve their shoes.

However latest they might have been popular because of Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter who wore these shoes in his movies of the same name.
Even my father has already worn them in his childhood.
But the trend was introduced in Germany nearly about 10 years ago and lasts until today. Girls and boys, young and older wear them in different colors and pattern and some seem to wear them nonstop all over the year.
I've asked my followers once again on my Facebook-page [in case you forgot to give me your like I would like to remember you now] why they love to wear them: The majority said because they are so comfortable.

My personal preferred ones are my royal blue Chucks which I bought last summer when I was on holiday in Cannes this summer you will also know more about the choice of the color. Since then they have become one of my constant companies on warm and sunny spring or fall days. I don't wear them when it's rainy, wet or cold because your feet can quickly freeze in them and they aren't waterproof.
Besides from that I get to the minority who prefers wearing them accurate and clean, therefore I clean them regularly. My suggestion is still to clean the white part with scouring milk and the cloth with hot water and soap.

...and last but not least here are some Chucks looks á la Fall4Me

Blouse (available in black too) - Tally Weijl, bracelet (available in brown too) - Douglas, shorts - Armand Thiery

Ring - I am; scarf - Chanel; jersey - L&B; belt - Kookai, skinny jeans - Texto
chucks - Events; jacket - L&B, bag - Valentino

Scarf - Fun/France, T-Shirt - designed by me, treggings (available in different colors) - Vero Moda

Top - L&B, shorts - Zeta Moda A, bracelet - Claire's

Blazer - L&B, T-Shirt - L&B, bag - Heavy Mental, treggings - Vero Moda, bracelet - Douglas

Are You Going With Me?

Ciao belli,

some of you might wonder where I'm asking you to go with me - well going green. As we find ourselves in the year of the snake in 2013 it's no surprise that even designers like Guido Maria Kretschmer say that green is the color of the year.
